After a work out, why not sit and relax on your couch and read a nice book? Having your dog by your side will surely be a bonus! Dogs love to be around their owners and this is a great time for them to do so. This will give you some quality cuddle time with your pet. If the book sucks, at least you have someone next to you who loves it unconditionally!

Take Shorter Workouts Together

It’s okay if working out longer gives you anxiety or stress. Your dog doesn’t mind if you want to take shorter, more frequent workouts together! Take your dog for a walk around the park before work or run laps in your backyard after dinner instead of going out for an intense workout session at night. This will give you some time to unwind and enjoy yourself without worrying about having someone judge how hard you’re working out.
Dog Daycare and Boarding for Stress Relief
If your dog doesn’t like to work out, that’s okay too! Why not take them with you on a day trip or bring them around the office if they can stay well-behaved? There are many doggy daycares as well as boarding facilities with lots of space to run and play. This is a great way for your dog to relieve some stress after you’ve worked them too hard, or in case they need the extra exercise themselves!
